Using a Pill for precise, automated fermentation
Last time round, we showed you how easy it is to get started with all grain brewing with a RAPT Gen 4.1 BrewZilla. This time, we are taking our hot cube of delicious IPA wort, and turning it into beer! Using a RAPT Pill bonded with a RAPT Fermentation Chamber or a RAPT Temperature Controller, you unlock the easiest and most powerful automated fermentation control available to homebrewers in the world.
We also cover a bunch of useful tips and tricks: how to easily purge and sanitise your kegs before filling, and how to do a fast, full pressure transfer from the FermZilla to a keg. This is something we get asked a lot here at KegLand! We show you a Hop Bong in action, and how to easily set and use a spunding valve.

Big news: the all new RAPT Brew App
For those who are out of the loop, we have been working furiously on our all new RAPT Brew App, a native app for iOS and Android. It features an all new interface and much snappier response, with intuitive and easy to use controls.

As we head into the winter months down under, we also enter the second phase of development for the RAPT App and RAPT ecosystem. As well as our all new app, we are also migrating the RAPT platform to an all new back end architecture.
The RAPT Glycol Chiller was the first RAPT device that works directly with the new app and back end. All new RAPT devices will feature the same simple and seamless registration process! We will be updating all existing RAPT products as well, so every device will have easier and intuitive registration, simple network setup and vastly improved OTA control directly from the app.
The next device to be released will be the very eagerly awaited RAPT Laser Level Sensor. Make sure you have the new RAPT Brew App installed and an account set up so you are ready, and be prepared to discover in real time how fast you and your mates can hit the kegs!
The all new and powerful RAPT Brew App Recipe Builder has been in private beta for the last few months and will be released shortly.
By the end of the year the RAPT Glycol Controller and RAPT Digital Spunding Valve will also hit the shelves!
We are super excited for the next phase, as we transition new and existing devices to the new back end architecture. One of our main points of focus is ease of use. From unboxing to registering and connecting to a network, changing settings and adjusting on the fly, every RAPT device will see a massive update as we roll out the move to a new back end in conjunction with the RAPT Brew App.

It's the best place to find setup guides with step by step instructions, and helpful tips for brewing, fermenting and profiles. There are also comprehensive troubleshooting sections for every device to get you out of a jam.
